1. INSURANCE OF MATERIALS IN TRANSIT Materials are to be insured for damages while in transit by the second party. In case damages while unloading the same shall be the responsibility of the second party. 2. UNLOADING TIME First party truck/trailer should be unloaded within a maximum span of 3 hours from the time it reaches the site for which 24 hours prior notice will be advised. Any delay further to that will be charged at the rate of Dhs 100.00 per hour which hereby is agreed by the first party. 3. UNLOADING FACILITIES Crane/Forklift with canvas slings of minimum 6" width should be used for unloading steel structures and purlins (copy attached). The second party shall not be responsible for any damages due to unloading. 4. HANDLING AT SITE Second party will not entertain any claims of material being damaged due to rough handling or improper storage at site. 5. ACCESS FOR VEHICLES Proper access to vehicles should be provided 6. SHORTAGES OF MATERIALS Any shortages should be advised by the second party within a week from the date of delivery. No claims will be entertained there after (Client should compare packing list against delivery of materials to site) N/B: Delivery schedule will be delayed / cancelled if payment terms are not fulfilled for the particular shipment |
